You will be assessed by assignments and coursework, with tests for maths and English.

There will be an opportunity for a week of work experience.
What are the entry requirements?
English and Maths entry requirements: Grade 2 in English Language and in Maths.
Plus standard entry requirements: Two GCSE's at grade 2 or above, or equivalent.
Subject specific entry requirements or recommendations: An interest in gaining a job in the digital media industry is really important.
What can I study alongside this course?
This course is studied on its own and cannot be combined with other courses.
What facilities are there?
You will have access to all the college facilities, including a student restaurant, full media suite, gym and fully equipped learning resource centre.
What can the course lead on to?
On successful completion of this course you may be able to progress to a Level 2 course or an Apprenticeship. Some students choose to seek employment.
Are there any additional costs?
Resource fee of £70 is applicable.
This provides batteries, SD cards, memory sticks, animation resources and the upkeep of a range of media equipment.
This further education course is free for all 16-18 year olds who are resident in the UK and the European Economic Area for the last 3 years. (You must be under 19 on 31st August in the calendar year that you start your course).
